Search YouTube Audio Signature
I’d love to be able to search YouTube, or actually the whole web, based on sound signature.
So basically you could upload a short audio clip and get results of all online media that contained that clip.
And the next logical extension would be ‘sounds like’ results.
The technology obviously exists. I’m thinking indexing all of that data and searching it in a timely manner is the hold up.
