This would be a promotional website/app for food banks where people could check in to see what items they had, what they needed most, etc. Could be manually updated for smaller food banks, and eventually made an automated thing, or even just a series of web cams pointed at labelled areas of a fridge and/or pantry at the food bank.

Photo blocking hat
This would be a hat with a battery powered slave flash pointing forward. That way, whenever someone tried to take your photo with a flash, they’d just get a blinding light flashed back, wrecking the photo.

This would be a website exactly like Facebook looked in 2007, except using current data (via account opt-in / authorization).

Search YouTube Audio Signature
I’d love to be able to search YouTube, or actually the whole web, based on sound signature.
So basically you could upload a short audio clip and get results of all online media that contained that clip.
And the next logical extension would be ‘sounds like’ results.
The technology obviously exists. I’m thinking indexing all of that data and searching it in a timely...

Condo-like service in your private home
This would be a handyman service you could pay a monthly fee (like a condo fee), then when you needed someone to come fix a leaky faucet or patch a hole in the plaster it would be covered in the monthly fee.
And your handy person would be on call.
Would need to work out exactly what was covered at what price point, of course. Could be different packages at different price points.

Trending topics editor
A twitter feature where a human maintained a description of why a topic is trending and created a separate page with the best tweeds and storyline/timeline of the trending topic.
